Prevention of Adverse Childhood Experiences

Adverse childhood experience is one of the major problem faced by our society in today’s rapidly growing time. Many children are facing these problems of ACE which is very stressful and included with emotional and physical neglect of a particular child. Mental level of a child is very sophisticated and thus growing up with the family included with a mentally ill person can harm and affect their mind in a very destructive way. Apart from family reasons such as parental abandonment, divorce, or loss certain other reason including neglects and physical and verbal humiliation which puts on very harmful impact on child brain.  

 Adverse Childhood Experiences Study (ACE Study) is a research study conducted by the American health maintenance organization Kaiser Permanente and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. It is mainly related with the development of many mental problems grown up in the childhood age , which a person face throughout life.  Many organizations are taking stand on this cause for saving the charm and healthy childhood of many children in a society.

ACEs includes with so serious problems faced by children included with domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, emotional abusing, household violence, emotional and physical neglect, Parental separation or divorce, incarcerated household member.  It could be all those negative factors spoiled and killed the brain of a child, harassed a child mind badly.

Childhood experiences are included with many emotional positive and negative feelings having tremendous impact on future violence victimization and perpetration, and lifelong health and opportunity. As such, early experiences are an important public health issue. Many organizations are working for this cause of saving children. ACEs and Prevention Efforts  

Preventing ACEs can be very impactful and be the savior of so many health-related problems of children.  Serious attention towards Adverse childhood experience is growing in the news. And people are taking so many steps to save many children of the countries.

Our objective for this cause or signing this petition is to raise our voice on such crucial issues. Thus , we ask you to follow these  terms to develop a resilient community as of :

-         Develop a common language: ACEs conversations to create a collective understanding of trauma and toxic effect on the developing brain, social skills, and emotional development.  Need to share ACEs data within the community and society can be significant and important in making people aware and to bring up a change with so many effective solutions.

-         Create Policy Centered on Prevention: Be a part of the community infrastructure involves creating policies and will work with collaboration in decreasing the number ACEs, signing petitions with the specific demands and ask government for approval.

-         Funding of evidence based prevention : Need to fund the social services cause as of parenting classes, abuse prevention training for teachers and parents, home visits, community capacity building.

-         Connect:  Try to build resilience in the families and communities, cultivate trusting and caring relationships. Make people engage with this cause.    

Every year percentage of  ACEs Adverse childhood experience are increasing and this is the time to raise our voice for this cause . We as a team working on this cause (ACEs) to prevent the society and growing brains of so many children. Working deliberately to stop these unsocial activities including abuse, neglect and household dysfunction. And trying to prevent the childhood brain of the country’s next generation.
